Jimmy Hart Would Love to Manage SmackDown Tag Team

WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart is ready to dust off his jacket and megaphone to manage Pretty Deadly on SmackDown if the opportunity arises.

Hart is best known in wrestling for his time managing legendary Superstars and Tag Teams. The Hart Foundation, Money Inc, Hulk Hogan, and the Nasty Boys have all benefitted from having the Mouth of the South in their corner. More recently, Hart can be found alongside Hulk Hogan at various media appearances in addition to the Hulkster's Beach Shop. In 2018, Hart returned to WWE to induct Hillbilly Jim into that year's Hall of Fame. 

Hart on Pretty Deadly

Hart hasn't been a full-time manager in years but is ready to return to ringside if needs be. Speaking on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, Hart spoke favorably about SmackDown tag team Pretty Deadly. 

"I like those kids. You know why? Because they kind of remind me of my era. They talk big, they get knocked around but they’re colorful and they’re not real, real, big giant guys. I like them. I think they can really draw some big money. If I had the chance to do it again, that’s who I’d like to be with."

Hart went on to praise Pretty Deadly as a throwback to yesteryear, especially with their colorful, unique outfits on TV. 

Pretty Deadly on SmackDown

Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) have competed in NXT UK, WWE NXT, and now the main roster. In April 2022, the pair captured the NXT Tag Team Championships, which had previously been vacated. The pair have the distinct honor of being the final NXT UK Tag Team Champions, having unified the titles with the NXT Tag Team Championships at Worlds Collide 2022. 

Last month, Elton Prince suffered an injury on SmackDown and was seen wearing a sling after the show.
