Marty Jannetty Wants The Wrestling World To Remember Him For Sex

Marty Jannetty has had quite a career.

Jannetty is a former WWF Intercontinental Champion and a WWF Tag Team Champion. He’s also a two-time AWA World Tag Team Champion, and ranked 13th on the annual Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 list in 1993.

Marty Jannetty recently spoke with Steve Fall for WrestlingNews.co. After sharing a few stories about his in-ring career and other escapades, Fall asked Jannetty what he wants the wrestling world to remember him for.

“Sex,” Jannetty replied.

That’s it?

“What? What else am I gonna say? Remember my wrestling?” Jannetty added.

Jannetty recently claimed he had sex with a rabbit… do with that information what you will.

Elsewhere during the interview, Marty Jannetty also said that Hulk Hogan once had a gumball machine full of assorted drugs at his front door.

In-ring days are over

Marty Jannetty spoke to Bill Apter of Sportskeeda about the issues he was having with his ankle. In May, Jannetty said he was recovering from ankle surgery. The complications from surgery have caused Jannetty to rule out a return to the ring.

“No, because this is so painful,” Marty Jannetty admitted. “I wanted to once it were fixed, and my doctor even said he goes, ‘I’m gonna fix you up where you could walk again without pain. Please don’t jump off top ropes anymore because If you mess it up again, I may not be able to fix it.’ And I thought, okay, I’ll tell him okay. But then I went through the rehab and the pain. I’m like, okay.”

Jannetty has not wrestled an official match since June 2018.
