Nyla Rose is ready for more gold in AEW.

During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Nyla Rose opened up about pushing for a Women’s Tag Team Championship to be introduced in All Elite Wrestling.

“I have been pushing for this since day 37,” Rose said. “I’m not going to say day one, I wanted the world title from day one. But after things settled a little bit, I’ve been pushing for women’s tag titles. I would love to not only win them, but also introduce them, bring them in. I would love to get women’s tag titles, would love to hold them with Marina Shafir. Do that and then I can be the actual grand slam champion.”

Rose etched her name in AEW’s history books early on by becoming the second AEW Women’s World Champion in February 2020. In doing so, she also became the first transgender woman to capture a world title for a major company.

AEW held a women’s tag team tournament called Deadly Draw in the summer of 2020, however a championship was not introduced. That tournament was ultimately won by Diamante and Ivelisse.
