Teddy Hart is going to court this week to face drug charges

Teddy Hart is headed to court this week after a July 15th arrest on charges of possession of MDMA (ecstasy) and possession of a controlled substance without prescription.

The charges

Each of these charges is a third-degree felony in Florida. In addition to those charges, he was cited for failing to stop at a steady red light, something that led to him being pulled out in the first place. Now, he’s headed to court.

Pwinsider notes the court documents note he will have a court hearing on Thursday at 8:00 AM in Titusville, Florida in regard to the arrest. It’s listed as a mandatory appearance for "Early Resolution."

Resolution?

Down in Florida, there is a division that is involved with giving plea deals to those arrested as a way to prevent them from going to a felony trial so they could resolve things then. Hart’s day in court has been delayed several times since the arrest, and the court stated that this would be the final allowed delay.

Hart has had past run-ins with police. He was initially believed to be the next member of the legendary Hart family to become a big wrestling star. That didn’t happen due to personal issues.
